Official agencies publish the authoritative predictions, observations, models, and warnings. TideAhead does not rewrite those products as if they were ours. We add a consistent reading framework: source identity, freshness, station distance, field provenance, and explicit limits.

The goal is not to turn a forecast into certainty. It is to help a person notice whether a value is observed or modeled, whether a tide belongs to the selected place or a nearby station, and when an unavailable field should change the plan.
